The COMESA Federation of Women in Business : A new Board of Directors for the period 2024 to 2026

The COMESA Federation of Women in Business has ushered in a new Board of Directors for the period 2024 to 2026

Ms Maureen Sumbwe, representing the COMFWB Zambia national chapter ZWAFIB was re elected as the Board Chairperson. Mrs. Leila Belkhiria Jaber from the COMFWB Tunisia Chapter/ CNFCE / Chambre Nationale des Femmes Cheffes d'Entreprises emerged as Vice Board Chairperson while Ms Angie Wibabara, from the COMFWB Rwanda was reelected Rapporteur of Board of Directors...

Other members elected to the Board of directors include :

Ms Selina Mwenelupembe from the COMFWB Malawi Chapter/ Federation For National Association of Women in Business Malawi, Ms Zintombi Thandi from the COMFWB Eswatini Chapter , Ms Ibtissam Ben Amer from the COMFWB Libya Chapter, Ms Claudette Albert from the COMFWB Seychelles Chapter, Ms Fanja Razakaboana from the Comfwb Chapter Madagascar/ Groupement des Femmes Entrepreneurs de Madagascar officiel - GFEM, and Ms Choukri Abdillahi from COMFWB Djibouti Chapter.

The Board of Directors are mandated to make decisions aimed at providing strategic direction, reflect organisational values and set the tone for how COMFWB engage with stakeholders
