The Regional Enterprise Competitiveness and Access to Markets programme (RECAMP) is about boosting participation of the private sector in regional and global value chains. The programme does this through the improvement of the investment and business climate and enhanced competitiveness in the COMESA region.
The COMFWB Eswatini Chapter convened the RECAMP training-workshop at the Alcon Business Centre in Manzini, the central region of the Kingdom. There were 30 trainees who came from all associations under the COMFWB Eswatini Chapter. Participants came from different business sectors such as, agriculture, agroprocessing, handicraft and leather products.
The participants were trained by two facilitators on internalization and access to finance. The participants also did practical learning, such as using the 50MAWSP App and doing presentations in front of the other fellow participants as instructed by the facilitators.

Women owned MSMEs face challenges such as high rental fees, lack of business information, poor networking, limited business linkages and low education level. - Mr. Siboniso Nkumbule , the Minister for Commerce, Industry & Trade of the Government of Eswatini

International Women's Day is a global holiday celebrated annually on March 8 to commemorate the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women. This year's theme was titled #BreakTheBias. Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women's equality. Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias.
