At the end of the 5th TRADE FAIR Madagascar 2024 - Comesa Federation of Women in Business , a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Ethiopian Women Entrepreneurs Association -#EWEA, an association established to support and empower women entrepreneurs in Ethiopia, and the Groupement des Femmes Entrepreneurs de Madagascar officiel - GFEM

The purpose of this MoU is to establish a framework for cooperation and collaboration between the two organizations, in order to enhance the capacities of women entrepreneurs, facilitate business opportunities and promote the economic empowerment of women in the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) Region . The two parties will also collaborate on advancing  Networking, Advocacy, Access to Finance, and Market Access between the two associations.

The MoU was signed by Ms #Engedaye_Esthete, COMFWB Ethiopia Chairperson and Ms #Fanja_Razakaboana,  COMFWB Madagascar Chairperson on behalf of EWEA and GFEM
