March 2024-Antananarivo, Madagascar – A delegation from the COMESA Federation of Women in Business (COMFWB) recently met with high-level Malagasy government officials to discuss preparations for the 5th COMFWB Trade Fair and Business Conference, scheduled for June 2024 in Antananarivo-MADAGASCAR.
The delegation, led by Ms. Angeline_Wibabara and Ms. Fanja_Razakaboana, met with Mr #Joel_Randriamandranto, the Malagasy Ministers of Tourism and Handicrafts ; Mrs Hanitra Razakaboana, the Malagasy Minister of Labor, Employment and the Civil Service, and Mrs Edgard_Razafindravahy, the Minister of Industrialisation, Trade and Consumer Affairs of Madagascar.
The primary objective of the meetings was to introduce the COMFWB and its mission to promote women entrepreneurship within the COMESA Region. The delegation also discussed the upcoming Trade Fair and Business Conference on June 2024, highlighting its potential to foster economic growth, stimulate trade, and encourage investment. The 5th COMFWB Trade Fair and Business Conference aims to create a platform for collaboration and business partnerships between local operators and COMESA member countries.
