3rd Annual COMFWB Trade Fair
Half of Africa will be in Kampala, Uganda at the third annual COMFWB Trade Fair scheduled to take place from 24th to 26th August 2022. The trade fair brings together business women and stakeholders from all member states in the COMESA region, to discuss, display and develop products and services, and tools and resources to achieve economic empowerment at grassroots and upper crust levels.
The theme for this year is Business Women Advancing Regional Trade and there is no better time than now to recognize the immense contribution businesswomen have made, and continue to make in contributing to economic development, not only in their respective states, but on a regional capacity. This year’s trade fair seeks to embrace the rich pool of diverse natural resources, commodity products, labour and skills found in member states and put on view for Africa, and the world to see. The goal is to continue to be in line with the Agenda 2063 goals, and the activities for this year will draw attention to the AU Agenda 2063 Goal # 4 which is transformed economies with a focus on economic diversification and resilience.
